This course will build on wellbeing and professionalism as introduced in CVM 718. At the intersection of professionalism and wellbeing, individuals integrate practices and attitudes that foster physical health, mental resilience, and emotional intelligence while maintaining high standards of performance, ethical conduct, accountability, and continuous growth.

In PLS I, self-awareness of feelings and thoughts and how that recognition helps to improve or limit one's ability to function was presented. PLS II builds on those skills and knowledge and introduces basic communication skills and professional concepts so one can be their best when interacting and communicating with others.
